WELCOME

BIG NEWS!! The first two segments of the North Tarrant Express are now open and fully operational as of Saturday, October 4!

We have rebuilt all of the main lanes and frontage roads and nearly doubled the road capacity with the addition of TEXpress managed toll lanes. Now, drivers have a choice of traveling along the free main lanes, or entering the TEXpress lanes, which guarantees a minimum rate of speed of 50 mph.

We are in the process of transitioning this site to provide important information and updates about the next segment of the North Tarrant Express: reconstruction of I-35W from downtown Fort Worth to the US 287 juncture.

We hope that you will continue to use this website as a tool to keep yourself informed of upcoming road work. As always, all of us at the North Tarrant Express encourage you to "Know before you go and drive safely in the zone!"
